Bellindo Ltd is one of the Caribbean’s leading manufacturers of designed metal products for the commercial and residential sectors.
The company operates three divisions, “Bellindo Iron Works™” concentrating on custom architectural ironware, “Perimeter Systems™” which focuses on providing standardized metal work solutions to commercial and residential clients, and “Bellindo Special Projects™” engaging in engineered products & solutions. The company implements projects island wide, has had a track record of exports to the Caribbean region, and operates from an 11,000 square foot facility in downtown, Kingston, Jamaica.
Some of the company’s work can be seen at Emancipation Park, the University of the West Indies and in both international airports. The company, in addition to its broad base of residential clients, has produced work for several large Jamaican companies and has collaborated with many of the country’s leading architects, developers and interior designers.

Our History
Bellindo Ltd. was started by Lisa Lindo nee Bell in 1992 with her husband to be, Douglas Lindo and one employee operating from a 200sq ft shed. From the shed Lisa started designing and manufacturing functional metal sculpture in the form of furniture and giftware items. These she sold at local, and Caribbean craft fairs and through interior designers.
By 1999, the company had 5 employees, operated from a 2,500 square foot facility and moved into architectural ironware, manufacturing custom designed stair railings, gates and decorative panels, primarily for residential clients. In 2000, Douglas joined Lisa in the business full time and by 2003 approximately 15% of the company’s revenues were earned by exporting its products into the Caribbean.
In 2006, the company launched its “Perimeter Systems™” division, to leverage the company’s competence in welded products across a line of standardized products and services. These products and services were designed to meet the security needs of its general customer base as well as the specialized metal work needs of developers and contractors. In 2012, the “Perimeter Systems™” division accounted for approximately 75% of the company’s revenue base.
In 2008, the company launched “Bellindo Special Projects™”, a division created to collaborate with construction industry professionals to design and manufacture engineered products and solutions.
Today the company is known for its project management capability and its strong solutions orientation which successfully integrates the technical demands of a project while meeting the quality and aesthetic objectives of its clients.
